Update 10/9/17

It was a week of mixed fortunes for our teams which culminated in a 2 point loss to our neighbours Shannon Gaels in the Intermediate Football Championship on Saturday at Kilmore. St. Michael's will now face-off with Kilbride in a relegation playoff in two weeks time. See match report.

Our under 12's dug deep to come out on top by the narrowest of margins in what was a hugely entertaining and competitive match against Éire Óg in Loughlynn on Wednesday. Next match will be against St. Ronan's in Cootehall this Tuesday.

The under 14 boys lost their away match against Kilglass/Barry's on Thursday and the Garda Cup game scheduled for Sunday evening was postponed.
Our under 14 girls managed to conquer Ballinameen in their third game on Tuesday and
they will now play their quarter final on Oct 1st.
50/ 50 Draw: The Ladies Gaelic Football Association fundraiser of 2017 is now running with a limited number of Draw tickets on sale at €50 each. There will be €500 worth of prizes every fortnight and St. Michael's have 20 tickets to sell. Please contact Aileen, Jenny or any club officer if you would like to buy or share a ticket.

We have provisionally booked a bus for the ladies All Ireland final on 24th September. Cost including bus and ticket into Croke Park will be €15 per child and €25 per adult.
We need to book the tickets by Thursday so please let us  know if you are interested in going by Wednesday 13th evening. Contact Aileen, Jenny, Joan or Clare.

St. Michael's GAA Club extends sympathy to Mickey Durkin and family, Knockvicar on their recent bereavement.
