Weekly Update

The Intermediate team had a great win over St. Aidan's in Ardcarne Park on Saturday evening last in very wet conditions .  This was the second round of the Championship. The club wishes to thank the players and management for getting a great win showing great spirit and determination, pride and passion to get the job done.  A huge thank you also to all who helped in getting the Park and the dressing rooms ready for the game.  Good luck to the team in the rest of the championship.
Well done to the U.10 team who took part in the football blitz in Termonbarry on Saturday.  Thanks to their parents and also St. Barry's for their hospitality .  Training continues for all U.10's on Friday at 7.

The U.14's played St. Faithleach's on Thursday evening last in the league semifinal.  St. Michael's were losing at half time but came back much stronger in the second half .  They fought hard to gain a well deserved victory. Well done to the team and management.

The U.12's are due to play in their semifinal next weekend ,see fixtures for details.
LADIES:  The U.11 girls had a 9 a side blitz at the Centre of Excellence in Ballyhaunis on Saturday last, they played four matches against Liltimagh/Headford, Breaffy, Swinford and Castlerea. Thanks to Joan and Geraldine for mentoring the team.The U.12 girls were due to play St. Croans on Monday evening last in the Division 3A semifinal. Training commences for the U.14/15 this week parents will be notified by text.

The lotto draw took place in The Bogside on Sunday 24th May.  No.s drawn were  3, 8, 22 and 23, there was no jackpot winner. Five E20 winners were Christine Henry, Daniel Griffin, James Duignan, John Walsh (Gorey)  and Rachel Lavin/Conor Clarke.  Next draw is in Henrys Cootehall on Sunday next for a new jackpot of E3,400.  Nuala O'Hara's team are in charge of ticket sales.
