Weekly Update

There is a club meeting on Wednesday night at 9pm.
U.6 and U.8 training outdoors has finished on Friday evenings.  A special thanks to all boys & girls for great turnouts during the year and also to the trainers and coaches.  Training will move indoors once renovations to complex are complete.
The U.13's were beaten by a strong St. Faithleachs team in Kilbride last Tuesday night. Thanks to Clive Gillespie Jnr. and Snr. who managed the team on the night.
The U.14 team will play KilglassGaels/St. Barry's in the Garda Cup 2014 at 12 pm in Kilglass on Sunday next, best of luck to them in this competition.
LADIES:  The U.14's play their semifinal on Saturday next 11th October  in Loughglynn, see fixtures for details, best of luck to the team and management. 
Hard luck and commiserations to the club girls who played with Shannon Gaels in the Co. Minor Div 1 final, hard luck to Katie Daly, Ciara Dowd, Lara Bruen, Ruth & Catherine Flynn.

At the recent Club Skills Event in Ardcarne Park a number of underage Committee Members and Coaches completed the 'Ice Bucket Challenge'.  E200 was collected and donated to "Light it up Gold" Childhood Cancer Charity, many thanks to all for all the support .

The lotto draw took place in Clancy's Knockvicar on Sunday night last.  No.s drawn were 15,19,26 and 28 . No jackpot winner new jackpot E1,900.
A reminder that Yearly Club Lotto Vouchers can be purchased from Jenny Bruen or Nuala O'Hara, and ideal gift anytime of the year.

The Club wishes to extend its sympathy to Tommy Ryan and family on the death of his mother, Kathleen.
