Weekly Update

The Junior team were beaten by Roscommon Gaels in the first round of the Junior A championship.

St. Michael's u.12 boys play Elphin in the division 2 League final on Sunday next July 20th at 1pm in Strokestown. Please come out on the day to support this young team.

Following a strong performance the U.14's were narrowly beaten by St. Croans on Thursday last in the Championship.

U.16 training resumes this week in advance of the championship, day and time will be confirmed by management early in the week.

The U.10's will be playing in a blitz on Saturday next 19th July, time and venue will be texted to parents.

There will be an important minor meeting on Thursday night at 9pm sharp to discuss the possibility of organising a Fun and Skills Weekend for later in the Summer. Good attendance is required in order to organise this event so all interested parties are invited to attend.

Training continues for U.12 and U. 14 's girls on Monday nights from 7 to 8. There will also be training U8 and 10's on Wednesday evenings at 7pm. U. 10 girls have a match on Tuesday against Strokestown at 7pm in Ardcarne Park.

The Intermediate game between St. Michael's and Michael Glaveys is postponed due to Roscommon's success against Cavan at the weekend.

The last lotto draw took place in Clancys Knockvicar for a jackpot of E1,200. No's drawn were 3, 5, 8 and 10. There was no winner 5 x E20 winners were Mary Kearns, Colm Healy, Gerry Hagan, Kevin Daly and David Noone.
