Congratulations to the St Michael's Instrumental Music Group of Diarmuid Regan, Fiachra Heny, Noelle Martin, Lorcan Regan and Niamh Clancy,who won the Instrumental Music County Title at the Scór na nÓg County Finals, which was held in the Dean Crowe Theatre in Athlone on Sunday last, the 15th December 2013.
They beat off competition from St Dominic's, Elphlin and Shannon Gaels. They now go on to represent the Club and Roscommon in the Connacht Scór na nÓg Finals, which will be held in the T.F. Theatre in Castlebar on Saturday, the 25th January 2014. Once again well done and thank you to the Parents and Brenda Sweeney (tutor).
Congratulations to Club Player Shane Gillispie, who was part of the Ballyhasie Agricultural College Football Team, who won the All Ireland Agricultural Championship Football Final against Pallaskenry Agricultural College on Tuesday last, the 10th of December 2013 in Co Kildare.
On Wednesday next, the 18th of December 2013, Kilkenny Hurling Star Henry Shefflin, will visit the home of St Michael's GAA Club, Ardcarne Park at 12.15pm. All are welcome to come and met this great legend of the Hurling game.
Indoor Training for U6s on Friday next, the 20th of December 2013 at Ardcarne Park Sports Complex from 6.30pm to 7.15pm. This is followed by Indoor Training for U9s on Friday next, the 20th of December 2013 at Ardcarne Park Sports Complex from 7.15pm to 8.15pm. All are welcome.
