Weekly Update

The St Michael's Intermediate Team were defeated by Western Gaels on Saturday last, the 20th of July 2013 in the O Gara Cup League at Frenchpark. Their game with Fuerty in the O Gara Cup League on Wednesday next, the 24th of July 2013 in Fuerty is off. They play against Padraig Pearses on Tuesday, the 30th of July 2013 in the last round of the O Gara Cup in Woodmount at 8.00pm.

 

The St Michael's Junior Team recorded their first win against St Ronan's  in the Div 4 League Group A at Ardcarne Park on Friday last, the 19th of July 2013.

 

The U14 Boys Team game against Kilglass/St Barry's on Thursday last, the 18th of July 2013 at Tarmonbarry in the Div 3 U14 Championship was cancelled. They play against St Croan's on Thursday next, the 25th of July 2013 at Ardcarne Park at 7.00pm in the next round of the Div 3 U14 Championship.

 

The Lotto draw is in Mooring's Bar, Knockvicar on Sunday next, the 28th of July 2013, for a jackpot of € 7,600.00.

 

Tickets are now available from the Club, for the Roscommon Race Day. The Race Day on Tuesday, August the 6th 2013 at Roscommon Race Course. First Race at 5.30pm and the Last Race is at 8.45pm. St Michael's GAA Club have 40 tickets to sell for the event. Tickets cost €25 each. Tickets covers; Admission to Racecourse, Free Race Card, Free €10 Betting Voucher and a Draw for numerous Valuable Prizes, which includes holidays, All Ireland Tickets and lots more. The Club would like to extends its condolences to the Blackwell and Sugrue Family, Crossna on the death of Una's Brother the late Paddy Sugrue (RIP), Dublin.

 

Hard Luck to Sorcha Bruen (Capt) and the Roscommon Minor Ladies Team, who played against Clare in the All Ireland 'B' Semi Final on Saturday last, the 20th of July 2013 in Ballinasloe.

 

Hard Luck to Sean Farrell and the Roscommon Minor Team against Mayo in the Connacht Minor Football Championship Final on Sunday last, the 21st of July 2013 in Mc Hale Park,Castlebar. They now play Kildare in the Quarter Final.
