Weekly Update

The Intermediate Team were defeated by Roscommon Gaels in the O Gara Cup League on Sunday last in Ardcarne Park.  The Junior Team play St Croan's in the Div 4 League this weekend. Check fixtures for details.

The U12 Boys Team were defeated away to St Barry's on Saturday last in their final Div 4 Spring League game in Tarmonbarry and they finished second place in the Div 4 Spring League.

The Minor Team play Shannon Gaels in the Special Minor League on Thursday next, the 28th of June 2012 in Croghan at 7.30pm.

The U16 Team play St Barry's in the second round of the U16 Div 4 Championship on Sunday next in Tarmonbarry at 12.00pm.

The U10-U8 Teams had a good workout against Kilglass Gaels last week at Ardcarne Park.

The Lotto draw was held in Henry's Bar, Cootehall on Sunday last, the 24th of June 2012, for a jackpot of €4,800.00. The numbers drawn were 3, 7, 17, 27. There was no winner, One match 3 winner, €100 winner; Michael Flynn, Lough Errill, Mohill. The next draw is in The Moorings, Knockvicar, on Sunday 8th of July 2012, for a jackpot of €4,900.00.

Final preparations are now in place for the St Michael's GAA Club Minor Board GAA Cúl Camp for Children aged between 6 - 12 years, which takes place on Friday, 29th of June 2012 between 3.00pm - 7.00pm and Saturday, 30th of June 2012 between 10.00am - 2.30pm at Ardcarne Park. The Camp will include skills and blitz games for Girls and Boys.

Tickets for the 2012 County Board Members Draw are still available from the Club at €100. By supporting this draw you are supporting you Club and County. First draw now take place at half time in the match between Roscommon and Armagh on Sunday next, the 1st July 2012. Half shares or Quarter shares in purchasing a ticket are options available. Good Luck to the Roscommon Senior Team against Armagh in the first round of the Qualifiers on Sunday next, the 1st of July 2012 in Dr Hyde Park, Roscommon at 2.30pm and to the Roscommon Minor Team against Galway in the Semi Final of the Connacht Minor Football Championship on Saturday next, the 30th of June 2012 in Tuam Stadium at 5.30pm.

The Club extends its condolences to the Family and Relations, on the death of the late Tony Tansey (RIP), Rathcoole and formerly of Rockingham and to the Harte Family, Knockroe on the death of the late Nancy Masterson (RIP).
