Weekly Update

It was a quiet week for the Clubs Adult Teams, with the Intermediate Team's game against St Dominic's in the O Gara Cup League been postponed. They play Roscommon Gaels in the O Gara Cup League on Sunday next, the 24th of June 2012 in Ardcarne Park at 4.00pm. The Junior Team play Kilmore in the Div 4 League in Ardcarne Park at the weekend. On the underage front, the U14 Team got back to winning ways by defeating Kilglass Gaels on Wednesday last, in the Div 4 League at Ardcarne Park. They now have qualified for the U14 Div 4 League Semi-Finals. 

The U12 Boys Team continued their winning ways, with a home win against Kilglass Gaels on Sunday at Ardcarne Park, in the U12 Div 4 League. They play St Barry's on Saturday at 12 noon in Tarmonbarry.Please support all our Teams. 

The U10-U8 Girls hosted a Blitz last week at Ardcarne Park, with Shannon Gaels and Boyle taking part.

The County U8 Blitz in Hyde Park, Roscommon planned for Saturday last was postponed.

Training continues for Intermediate, Junior, Minors, U16s, U14s and U12 Boys during the week. Training for U10s, U8s and U6s on Friday next, the 22nd of June 2012 at 7.00pm.

The Lotto draw is in Watersplash Bar, Cootehall, on Sunday next, the 24th of June 2012, for a jackpot of  €4,800.00.

Final preparations are now underway for the St Michael's GAA Club Minor Board GAA Cúl Camp for Children aged between 6 - 12 years, which takes place on the 29th and 30th of June 2012 at Ardcarne Park. This Camp will include skills and blitz games for Girls and Boys.

Tickets for the 2012 County Board Members Draw are still available from the Club at €100. By supporting this draw you are supporting you Club and County. First draw now take place on Friday next, the 22nd June 2012. Half shares or Quarter shares in purchasing a ticket are options available. The Club are also raffling these tickets in a raffle and entries can be obtained at any local business in the Parish, €2 for one entry or €5 for three entries. Good Luck to the Roscommon Minor Team against Leitrim in the first round of the Connacht Minor Football Championship on Saturday next, the 23rd of June 2012 in Pairc Sean, Carrick on Shannon at 5.00pm.
