It was a good weekend for the Club, With the three teams in action all recording wins. First the Intermediate Team had a good away victory over St Barry's in O Gara Cup League on Friday evening last the 27th of April 2012 in Tarmonbarry. They play Boyle next weekend in Boyle in the O Gara Cup.

The Junior Team beat Elphin in the Div 4 League on Saturday at Ardcarne Park. They play Castlerea on Saturday next the 5th of May 2012 in Ardcarne Park at 7.00pm.
The Minor Team won against Kilglass Gaels in Tarmonbarry in the Division 3 League. They are set to meet St Ronan's on Monday the 7th of May 2012 in Ballyfarnon at 2.00pm.

The U16 Team play Kilglass Gaels in the Div 4 League on Saturday next 5th of May 2012 in Ardcarne Park at 5.00pm. The U14 Team start their Div 4 League campaign away to Roscommon Gaels in Lisnamult on Thursday next 3rd of May 2012 at 7.00pm.

The U12 Girls Team had a good away win against Strokestown in Group D in Strokestown on Wednesday last the 25th of April 2012. They play Shannon Gaels on Thursday next 3rd of May 2012 in Ardcarne Park at 7.00pm. Please support all Teams.
A Club Function Meeting will take place on Tuesday next 1st of May at 9.00pm in the Ardcarne Park Sports Complex.
The St Michael's GAA Club Annual Golf Classic will take place at Carrick on Shannon Golf Club on Saturday next the 5th of May 2012. Great prizes on offer on the day and presentation of these prizes is at the Club Presentation Function in Killronan Castle on the next night, Sunday the 6th of May 2012. Limited Tee Times available on the Friday evening. Entry fee is €120 for a Team of 4. Contact John Moffatt, Seamus Sweeney, Geraldine Farry, Niall Roche, or any Club Officer for further information.
The Club Presentation Function will be held on Sunday night the 6th of May 2012 at 8.30pm in Killronan Castle. Music on the night and a Buffet Supper will be served. Tickets are now on sale through out the Club's catchment area or from any Club Officer at a price of €20. A good night of fun and craic is guaranteed. The victorious 2011 Junior B Team will be presented with their County Championship medals on the night.
Good Luck to the Roscommon U21 Team, who play Dublin in the All Ireland U21 Football Final on Sunday next 6th of May 2012 in Tullamore at 2.00pm. This game is an all ticket game. Contact any Club officer before Wednesday next 2nd of May 2012 for tickets.

Tickets for the 2012 County Board Members Draw are now available from the Club at €100 each. By supporting this draw you are supporting your Club and County. First draw is on the 11th of May 2012.
Congratulations to the members from the Club's catchment area who were part of the Shannon Gaels U16 Ladies Team, who won the County U16 Div 1 Group B Championship against Boyle on Sunday last the 29th of April 2012 at Ardcarne Park.
Well done to Katie Daly, who is part of the  Roscommon U14 Ladies Team, who defeated Leitrim recently. Katie score 1-03 on the day. They now have qualified for the Connacht A Final which is against Mayo.

The Club extends its condolences to the Flynn family, Cootehall on the death of Pat Joe's sister Breedge Mulvey (RIP), Kiltoghert and the Gildea Family and the Kearns Family, Derrynine on the death of Sean Flynn(RIP), Ballyfarnon. May they rest in peace.
