Junior Ladies Team 

Under 12 Winners


Minor St Ronans/St Michaels ladies



Under 12 Boys
Pride of place for this week goes to the Under 12 boys team who defeated a very strong St. Ciaran's team to capture the Div. 3 Spring League title on the score line of 15 points to 11 points. The lads showed great teamwork and skill with excellent defensive work and attacking play. Jeffrey Oates finished top scorer with some excellent long range points off both feet. The panel - Aaron McDonagh, Tom Robertson, David Costello, Peter Morahan, Alex Oates,  Darragh Lee, Iollan Morahan, Tommy Lennon, Jeffrey Oates, Cormac Lee, Brien O Dowd, Brion Dowd, Ronan Guckian,   Shane Fallon. Alex Moore, Jack Regan, Aryan Hanly, Aaron Gavin, Mark Tansey, Andrew Callaghan, Robbie Stanley and Tyler Meehan.

Under 6, 8 and 10’s
Training continues on Friday evening and their next blitz is on Monday July 8th in Ballyfarnan.

Junior Ladies
Our history making Junior Team were beaten at the weekend in their first ever Championship game when they play Roscommon Gaels away   The girls next game is at home on weekend of 20th/21st of July. The very best of luck to this very young Junior Team in the rest of their Championship.
           
Minor Girls
The combined St Ronan’s/ St Michael's team were beaten when they played Kilbride away on Thursday last. They play Western Gaels away on Thursday 11th July. Best of luck to the team.

Feile
The Club hosted two under 14 girls games on Saturday last, thank you to all who helped on the day in making the day a success.

Lotto
There was no winner of the draw on 13/07/19, the numbers drawn were 12,19, 25, 26.
Match three winner is Neil Cox, Cootehall. Next Draw 13th July and jackpot is €6,300.

Club Notes 23/06/19


Skills Day 2019
The club hosted its annual underage Skills Day on Saturday 22nd June at sun-drenched Ardcarne Park. Yet again we saw another huge turnout of players, coaches, helpers and parents. We were very privileged to welcome a special guest - the Nestor Cup accompanied by County Vice-Chairman, Brian Carroll. Many thanks to Brian for giving generously of his time, and also to all involved in making this such a successful event.

Under 12 Boys: Our Under 12s boys team were playing in a final on Monday last, result not know at time of going to press.

Lotto Draw: The jackpot stands at €6,200. There was no winner of the draw on 23/06/19, the number drawn were 17, 18, 21, 25. Match three winner is Martin Burke. The next draw is the 30/06/19. If you’re not in, you can’t win! You can purchase the envelopes locally and you can also subscribe to the draw for a year!

LGFA

Under 12 girls: The St Michaels/St Ronans girls were narrowly beaten in their final last Saturday by St Marys. Well done on getting to the final and doing your best. Under 14 girls: The St Michaels/St Ronans girls won their League final again St Marys last Wednesday at Ardcarne Park. Well done to all the girls and management, a great achievement. Minor: They play their first championship game away to Kilbride.

Junior: They play their first championship game away to Roscommon Gaels at 12.00 on Sunday next.

Congrats: Congratulation to Roscommon Ladies on winning the Connacht Intermediate Final, especially Sorcha Bruen and Katie Daly. A fantastic achievement for the team and management.

Condolences: The Club extends sympathy to the McKiernan, Derreenasoo on their recent bereavement.

Club Notes 16/06/2019


LGFA
The Combined Under 12 girls team beat St. Faithleachs in their semi-final on Friday evening last, they now play St Mary's on the 22nd June; venue and time tbc.  Best of luck to Joe, Michael and all the girls.
 The Combined Under 14 St. Michaels/ St. Ronans girls play their League Final on Wednesday in Ardcarne Park at 8.15pm, they play St.Mary's, Tulsk.  The very best of luck to Stephen, Donal, Theresa, Miryam and all the girls.  
We are hosting two Under 14 League Ladies Finals on Wednesday evening Shannon Gaels Vs Oran and St Michaels/ St Ronans Vs St Mary's. 

Roscommon Ladies: Best of luck to Roscommon Ladies Team on Sunday in the Connacht Final especially Sorcha Bruen and Katie Daly.

Under Age
The Under 12s had a great win over Kilmore on a score of 13 points to 8 points. They are now through to the Spring League Division 3 Final.
 The team came from three points down at half time to win by 13pts to 8pts.  The panel - Aaron Mc Donagh, Jack Regan, Tom Robertson, David Costello, Alex Moore,  Peter Morahan, Cormac Lee, Darragh Lee, Iollan Morahan, Jeffrey Oates, Alex Oates, Aaron Gavin, Peter Walshe, Tommy Lennon, Brien O Dowd, Ronan Guckian, Brion Dowd,   Shane Fallon. Aryane Hanly, Mark Tansey, Andrew Callaghan, Robbie Stanley,  Tyler Meehan. The team will play St. Cierans in the final.

Skills Day
St Michael's GAA Club are holding a Skills day for all underage players this Saturday 22nd June from 10am to 1:30pm. This is usually a highlight of the underage calendar.  Please bring a light lunch and snack with plenty of drinks as the sun is sure to shine!

Boots and Sportswear Drop
The Club are providing a Boots and Sportswear drop for any gear in good condition which Clubs members would like to donate or exchange. If you have any football boots or Sportswear which have been outgrown, we ask that parents bring and drop off the items they wish to donate at the next training sessions. There will be a large box available at each training session prior to the skills day.  All items donated will be made available to view at skills day. Thank you for supporting this initiative.

Roscommon Under 17’s: Best of luck to Jim Harte, Andrew Tiernan and the Roscommon Under 17s when they play Sligo in the final round of the Connacht Championship on Friday next.

Connacht Final
Congratulations to the Roscommon team on winning the Connacht Final last Sunday. A fantastic achievement, well done to all the team & management.

Club Notes 09/06/19

Club Notes June 9th 2019

Our combined under 12 girls had two great wins this week first on Wednesday when they won against Clann na nGael away and on Sunday when they won against Kilbride at home.  They are now through to a semi final on Friday evening next.  

The combined under 14 team bet Kilbride in the league semi final on Monday last they now play St Mary's Tulsk in the league final on either the 19th or 26th June.   Thank you to Kilmore who invited our under 14 girls to the opening of their new walk way and training pitch by having a challange game in Kilmore on Sunday, congrats on the new facilities.    

Best of luck to  the girls from Cootehall National School who are playing their semi final on Wednesday 12th in Ballyleague. 

 Best of luck to Roscommon under 14 girls in the All Ireland Semi final on Saturday next when they play Limerick.

A very successful underage Blitz was held on Friday evening, thank you to St. Barrys and St. Ronans for joining us, 160 children took part including U'6s, U-8s and U-10s. Thank you to all who played, supported and to all who organised the evening. 

The annual underage 'Skills Day' will take place on Saturday June 22nd- put the date in your diary! More details to follow.

The Club extends sympathies to the Kielty family Corrigeenroe on the death of their mother Maeve recently.

Club Notes 02/06/19

Our Junior team came away with a draw against St Kevins on Friday evening, speedy recovery to those who picked up injuries on the night.

St Michaels u12s had a good win against Kilmore on Monday last in the Spring League. They will play Kilmore again in the Division 3 semi-final, details to be confirmed.

Well done to Andrew Tiernan, Jim Harte and the Roscommon u17s who had a good win against Leitrim in the Connacht championship on Friday last.


Our St Michaels – St Ronans U14 girls face Kilbride on Bank Holiday Monday in their semi-final. Best of luck to all the girls and their management.
